Volunteer Requirements & Expectations

We welcome volunteers who are compassionate, reliable, and passionate about supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your commitment helps us create a nurturing and inclusive community.

Eligibility: Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and demonstrate a genuine interest in disability care and community living. Previous experience is appreciated but not required.

Time Commitment: We offer flexible scheduling, with opportunities for both short-term and ongoing involvement. Most roles require a minimum commitment of 2-4 hours per week to ensure consistency for our residents.

Screening: All volunteers must complete a background check to ensure the safety and well-being of our community members.

Training: Comprehensive orientation and ongoing training are provided to help you feel confident and prepared to make a positive impact. Our team is here to support you every step of the way.
